You are not responsible for other people and their emotions. You’re allowed to break up with people if you don’t want to be with them. You’re allowed to terminate relationships of any kind when you feel they are no longer affecting you in a positive way. You’re allowed to change your mind. You’re allowed to love someone, but still decide you don’t want to be with them. You’re not responsible for the other person’s reaction, it is their responsibility to heal and not yours. If they try to verbally attack you and/or manipulate you into feeling sorry for them, remember not to let their pain add to your own pain. Being left is never easy, but neither is staying in an unfulfilling relationship and being unhappy just to spare the other person. You’re not the bad guy for leaving someone. Stop feeling guilty for making decisions that affect your wellbeing. Your wellbeing should always be your number one priority.
A deadly bombing in Afghanistan, so powerful, that even the Taliban condemned it.
Keep Afghanistan, Iraq and every Muslim in your prayers this Ramadhan.
80 are dead. 300 are wounded.
90 dead & nearly 600 injured.
Afghan intelligence services have linked the recent Kabul Bombing to a terrorist group based in Pakistan.
We put our trust in Allah alone, He is The Judge and The Bestower of Justice.
UPDATE: at least 100 dead.
Glossier and Milk aren’t selling products they’re selling an aesthetic and some cute packaging…subpar ingredients that don’t correlate with their dumb expensive price tags all in cute minimalist packaging that looks rly good in your medicine cabinet and in Instagram photos. Glossier especially gets on my nerves for this…they charge $26 for a fucking skin tint that has 0 coverage??? I could get like…2 foundations from the drug store for that same cost that actually makes a difference. Or at the very least buy a concealer from Sephora that actually does something. And it has fucking diamond dust in it or something??? What is that gonna do other than degrade the collagen in my skin. Same reason why I hate the idea of their highlighters they put like topaz and other minerals in them like I am not PAYING to ruin my skin omg. Their serums piss me off too. Their hyaluronic acid serum has dimethicone in it, which aside from the fact that it can be slightly comedogenic and as a silicone can make it more difficult for any other products you layer on top to penetrate past it to get to your skin, it’s a fucking cheap as hell ingredient to use for a product they’re charging so much for. Their vitamin c serum doesn’t use ascorbic acid as its vitamin c so I’m not interested also I’m concerned by the fact that it’s in a dropper as it doesn’t seem that they added any ingredients to further stabilize it from going bad too soon. Their balm dot com is basically the same thing as Alba Botanica’s Un-Petroleum Jelly (with an extremely similar ingredient list) except the Alba Botanica one is less than $4. Have heard really subpar things about their moisturizing primer and and face wash.
Milk makeup is similar to glossier they’re trying to cultivate an aesthetic that they think millennials will buy from them….their ingredients don’t justify the price they dilute shit and honestly nothing from that line looks impressive enough for me to want to get anything. Which sucks bc I fell for the packaging too lol but I know if I got anything I’d prob just return itOmg I didn’t even mention glossier’s fucking rosewater that they sell for $18 for 4 fucking ounces!!! Like a bottle of rosewater is $3. A GALLON of aloe Vera juice (their other ingredient) is $6.50. A small bottle of Glycerin is like less than $4. All of that together is still cheaper than what they’re charging for FOUR OUNCES.
